Sometimes we call him the fudge whisper, but on most days our master fudge maker Darrell is just pops. Back in the early 2000’s with sweet tasting fudge on the mind, Darrell and family started Tawas Bay Fudge Company to bring back a trade that few people dare to attempt: Hand-Made Artisan Michigan Fudge Making!

 

 

 

 

 

 

“It’s an incredible process from start to finish, but I mainly do it for the smiles … and of course for those sweet Fudge morsels,” says Darrell. “Just don’t tell my wife, haha!”

 

 

 

 

With so many different flavors, the work is non-stop every week, but that’s because once you become part of the of the fudge making process you quickly realize something very important…
